Each beginning of every academic year in the MHAM College of Medicine is marked with full anticipation of entrants who are potential achievers. Having started a good legacy in the field of medicine not to mention the staying power of more than sixty years, the college continues to be a breeding place for service oriented and conscientious medical practitioners.
The academic year promises more challenging classroom situations among freshman students because the college is privileged to have enrolled the best-of –the-best graduates from other schools. The freshman populace includes eight cum laude graduates, four magna cum laude graduates, and several doctorate degree holders in various fields. In addition, ten freshman students are Pinoy MD scholars.
The Pinoy MD Program is part of a Human Resource Masterplan for Health by the Department of Health in partnership with the PCSO, the World Health Organization, and the University of the Philippines National Institutes of Health for a more comprehensive approach to address the health human resource crisis in the Philippines.
The MHAM-CM boasts of the new addition to its ever-growing family. Whole new batches of medical students are “a batch to watch”.
